About Me

I live with my husband of 30 years, Gene (pictured with me at right) on the North Carolina coastline. I have three grown children, Connie, Spence and Jeanie (pictured at right), and am a grandmother of five girls, Cecelia (15), Kayla (12) Ali (10) Grace (3) and Emily (2) and three grandsons, Nathan (10) Ryan (8) and Joshua (2) pictured below.

I spend my free time writing, brainstorming ideas for new stories, outlining, plotting, researching, surfing writing sites, gathering information on the writing craft, answering email and working on the business side of publishing. My primary writing interest is novel length fiction. Other writing includes articles (personal essaies), poetry and short stories.

I work part time and attend to the duties of being a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. My hobbies include tennis, exercise, swimming, reading, photography, television (avid sci-fi fan (Star Trek/Star Gate), movies, computer, card/memory games, pc games (the Sims), watching sports (football, ice skating and tennis) and dabbling with desktop publishing.
